THE POINT
Directors: Martín Serra
Genre: Feature Documentary. Production. Resolución General INCAA EX-2021-59953103- -APN-SGFPA#INCAA - "HAY TAL LUGAR" (Declaración de interés) // Universidad del Salvador RESOLUCIÓN RECTORAL N° 35/21
With serious health problems since childhood, which had him on the verge of death throughout his life, and harassed by the political and religious ups and downs in 20th century, Ismael Quiles, a Spanish philosopher and Jesuit priest based in Argentina, embarked on an impossible task: in his own way and based on his knowledge and experience, after proposing his insistential philosophy – a meeting point between fashionable existentialism and the scholastic tradition, plus some very personal contribution – he proposed to unite Eastern and Western cultures.
He wanted to build a unique world as the conclusion of his intellectual and philosophical journey.
This documentary project, alongside MARADONA MEDICO DE LA SELVA and LA CUARTA CORBATA, is the third installment of a trilogy dedicated to people who have sought their own path individually with very different tools, and who were able to "create" an ideal universe and project it onto others. As a consequence, they leave a latent legacy. Happiness, understanding of oneself and of the other, the aspiration to be rational and to be free. Everything is close, very close, or at least closer than we think. This documentary would allow us to look at Quiles's proposal.

REASONED LIST
Genre: Documentary
A review about Jacques Bedel's artistic catalogue, an unclassifiable artist who claims that art is one of the few things that serves no purpose.

DORREGO
Genre: 4 episodes fiction series
Notificación del registro: RL-2020-46229406-APN-DNDA#MJ. Folder.
DORREGO recounts the last fifteen days – from his overthrow until his death – in the life of Manuel Dorrego, governor of Buenos Aires and hero of Argentine Independence. The four chapter series tries to elaborate a thesis: to find the initial kick to understand Argentina, the declaration of the Argentinian perpetual imbalance. If that's how it started… Should we wait for another type of country? Argentina was born conflictive, but this is not strange because since every process of independence of worldwide was forged with death and blood. The remarkable thing is that it could never break away from this starting point. Are we determined by that DNA? Has, is and ever will our destiny as a nation is us and them or us or them.

SUN AND SHADOW
Genre: Documentary short
San Bernardo Chapel, La Pedrosa, Córdoba. A game of shadows always
generates different expectations. It's always the same, but different. It always has the same magic, but different. Every day we see a crucifixion (literally and metaphorically), but it is never the same. SUN AND SHADOW tries to show the daily dispute between nature and the intervention of man, in this case, the architectural work of Nicolás Campodónico. Nature, with light as a weapon, the sun as the protagonist and the intervention of men, which would be the two sticks that at sight do not foreshadow what is going to happen, there is no sign, only the asceticism and the simplicity of the construction. This documentary is intended to be descriptive, observational, and contemplative. From there, appealing to different ellipses and using some subtle acceleration of time on very few occasions (following the path of the sun in the sky) and interacting with what happens around the chapel (showing flora and fauna), we contemplate the crucifixion, with the imposing silence of the countryside.

SAINT FRANCIS BY FERRARI
Genre: Documentary short
In the Church of the Capuchins, in Córdoba city, everything seems to be traditional but nothing is. Considered "the first wonder of the city", it is one of the conceptual works (architecture and painting) that subtly combines tradition and avant-garde.
The perfect eclecticism of the construction is unique. The pictorial work is an equivalent to what is known in music as a "cover", which is to interpret the work of another author. The life of San Francisco is narrated from works by contemporary European painters of Ferrari's time and from other times reinterpreted by him. This is unique in the history of Argentine painting.
To which extent is it valid to see a "copied" painting? Do the original and the one made by Ferrari have the same value? Can a painting be, through interpretation, take on a life of its own and detach itself from the original?
